is there a size that works best so photos are not cropped...
I upload some pics that are the same size as others yet
they appear cropped when displayed on the forums post...

example: like a 3inch by 3 inch pic

Davinci, I don't know the real answer to your question, but this may
help.

The size in inches doesn't matter (at least she keeps saying so) - its
the size in pixels that matters. You can resize the pictures you
already have in your computer with most image editing programs, even the
one that comes included in windows XP.

I've noticed that the cropped pictures from your profile are also 'not
square'. The vertical rectangles lose the top and bottom, while the
horizontal rectangles lose their left and right. Maybe doing your own
"crop" to a square shape on your computer, then uploading, will help.

Also, regardless of what you upload, JSH only shows the pictures at
lower resolutions - so you might as well size it down, all that extra
detail is wasted anyway.

so center your self and should crop correctly
