it definitely works for his position. if he was a counselor i would say no. the people around him make up for him being a jerk. that was the great part about Cameron,Wilson and Foreman being there because they fought him. cameron was the heart, foreman was practicality and wilson was conscience. with that kind of dynamic or group it would be great to have more Houses in the world.

His personality is perfect for the job he has. When you are a doctor, you have to be objective. It causes you to lose focus and possible make decisions that are not rational. They actually made an episode with exactly that subject in mind.
