Flower Petals



you cant put a flower back together once its torn apart.
you cant put back the years , once they've begun to start.
you cannot chase those constant fears , quench your thirst with endless
tears.
climb a mountain , touch the stars , make a wish , wind up on mars.
pray to God for constant sleep , in my dreams our souls do keep.
wakeful dreams are bitter sweet , wondering how we'll finally meet.
pondering quietly through my days , wandering listlessly on endless
nights.
restless in my life I feel , try to keep it from fading , and losing
zeal .
sleeping , waking......, sustenance , waiting for whats held in chance .
as my pedals unfold , I want forever you to hold , and as they fall I
want you to catch ,

keep me together , dont let me detach.

maybe I should start puttin these to music ?
some days the words just fall into place ,
comes as natural as sun on the face ,
putting to words , with such grace ,
taking the reader into my space ,
on a read through a journey to some other place .
pause for a bit and watch a different race .
think maybe a little and change your own pace .
shed a different light on the dreams which we chase .
