There are tactful ways to go about giving your honest opinion and still
not hurt someone's feelings. You don't have to say, "That looks ugly on you," but you could say, "I think the blue dress is more becoming on you," or whatever. |

Yea I guess but you know there is that one person that never understands
fully and wil say "are you tell me I don't look good Blue is my fav color".....LOL |

I dont lie.... takes too much time to try to remember the first lie when
youa re covering up from all the other lies.. (my past husbands) i could take a quote... "don't ask me what I think of you, you might not like the answer that i give to you" some times its the truth that hurts.... |

Everyone lies. It's not always consciously, but we all do it. We're
especially adpet at lying to ourselves. I can't point to any specific time recently when I lied, but I'm sure I have — it's human nature, and often so subtle we never realize we're even doing it. |

My daughter cut all her beautiful long hair off sometime ago. It is very-very short. I miss all her hair. I had a hard time being truthful when I first saw it... She likes it though and it is her head. |

Of course I have lied. I try not too, but there are times, I know there
are...that I have not been absolutely truthful about something. I just can't come up with it right off the top of my head yet. I know that I have been untruthful to some when it seemed important to them for me to not tell the truth. I am trying to not lesson what it is; a lie no matter how little, is a lie. When I have caught myself knowing that I did, I try and apologize for being untruthful. It is usually me that is more concerned with it than the person that was told the untruth. Being late for work: maybe made an excuse sound just a little more than it was to make it feel better. Those kinds of things are lies. Telling someone on here for instance, that may have hurt my feelings or made me mad, that it was okay and that it didn't bother me, may have been a lie. Whatever my reason for it may be. Anyway, I try not too. I hope that I keep being as honest as I am now. It can only get better. Practice makes perfect?lol Kat |

If you like somebody and don't tell them, is that a lie?
|
|
|

Wouldn't that be a secret??
|

That too. But aren't you also lying to yourself in a way? An ommission
of the truth? Hi Kat! |
