Whew... got to playing this dang game and lost track of time

So do you draw the stuff out Pol or just freehand it and put it together?

I drew it out first. The dark wood is almost $20 a board foot. I wanted a solid pattern to work with.

Yeah, that makes sense.

Whadda ya think you can get for that kind of thing? At the artsy fartsy fairs it would go for a couple hundred bucks... but I don't know if anyone actually buys stuff at those things

I didn't have much to work on there hun. I am glad you like it.bigsmile blushing

AD, Just the pattern was a day. I melded two other paterns and tweeked it. The woodworking was almost 20 hours alone.

Yeah but once you have the pattern you have the pattern to make more. That's a one-time investment.

And if you start cranking 'em out the time per unit will drop a little too.

But that's still a lot of time. People are willing to pay for that kind of stuff.

Good luck with it!

Actually, that was a rush job. And with scroll saws, the grain of the wood is your biggest enemy. Remember, my saw blade is less than an 1/8 inch. It can be a stone cold biotch with pine and other thick grained wood.
