If pork is cooked no danger, anyway.
Actual combined swine, bird & humane flu bugs.

I just heard on the news they changed the name from swine flu to Hini influenza A Cause pig farmers were in an uproar over the name and claim you cannont get it from eating pork .But the name swine flu scared many people and stopped them from eating pork.
How do you pronounce that lol But it is true had costumers today did want pork.

They said HINI using the letters. Did you mean to say did not want to eat pork?
Yeap thanks :)

The flu is basically a major health issue for the very young and the elderly or people that have health issues. (AIDS,COPD,CHF etc) Other than that if people would just use standard precautions when out in public, washing hands, covering your mouth when you cough or NOT going out in public when sick (unless necessary)than the flu virus wouldn't be spread around . Me I don't worry about "catching" it I think I have built up a immunity. Since I am constantly exposed to others pathogens.

This flu is different. It's attacking a different age group and the more healthy people.

I have a big feeling they are trying to divert our attention away from something else that's going on...like what was the deal on Air Force One skimming Manhattan's skyline? That dropped out of the news about the time the swine flu came in.spock

actually 36,000 die from regular flu in America alone

and this swine flu (now they are calling it "North American Flu") seems to have a lower mortality rate than regular flu. but they jumped all over it as a just in case and luckily it's turning out to be not that bad

Too many people died unnecessarily during the Swine Flu of 1918 because it was kept quiet too long.

Mexico City, Tuesday, May 5, 2009. AP Mexico's Finance …59 mins ago

MEXICO CITY – Mexico's finance secretary says the swine flu outbreak has cost the Mexican economy at least $2.2 billion.

Agustin Carstens says the government will implement a $1.3 billion stimulus package, aimed primarily at small businesses and the tourism industry, the sectors hardest hit by the epidemic.

The government will temporarily cut health insurance payments for small businesses and reduce taxes for airlines and cruise ships.

Tourism, the country's third largest source of foreign income, has taken a serious blow with hotel occupancy at half its normal rate.

Many airlines have canceled flights because of the outbreak.

Carstens spoke to reporters on Tuesday.

I hear that "VERIFIED CASES" in Mexico, are much lower than first thought.

VERIFIED CASES in the US & Canada, are also lower than forecast.

Figures of deaths caused by H1N1 are also much lower than forecast.

Still think "much ado about nothing."

Sure it is costing money, people are going crazy buying "sanitizers & over the counter junk (opinion).

If you are taking care of your immune system, EVERYDAY, you don't have to worry, so bad.

Question, anybody ever hear of a "HANDKERCHIEF?????

I have carried one since I was a child.
Wipe my nose & cough into it.
Old ways still the best way.

Texas confirms first flu death of US resident

By CHRISTOPHER SHERMAN, Associated Press Writer Christopher Sherman, Associated Press Writer – 12 mins ago

McALLEN, Texas – Texas health officials have confirmed the first death of a United States resident with swine flu.

Few details were immediately released. But health officials say the patient who died earlier this week was a woman in her 30s who lived in Cameron County, along the U.S.-Mexico border. Carrie Williams, spokeswoman with the Texas Department of State Health Services, said Tuesday the woman had other, chronic health problems, but didn't offer specifics.

Last week, a boy from Mexico City died at a Houston hospital, marking the first swine flu death in the United States.

Antibiotics don't cure viruses. They cure bacteria.
