In the future, if someone goes to far in communication with you, you should very plainly tell them so instead of just shutting it off. That way there is no confusion for anyone.

for me i could care less if my bf reads my posts or emails... id definately rather him ask me... it is human nature to wonder sometimes like fran said... although to assume that someone is doing something wrong is something else.. sure every once in a while someone gets outta hand and i will kindly remind them if it continues that they talk sexual they dont respect me or my relationship and also tells me id never get in one with them or want a friend like that ,for the fact they are showing me they dont respect a relationship.. i think you should of corrected your "freind" and maybe your partner would of been perhaps thrilled that you did... but then again do you care what he thinks? there were wrongs on both parts here if you ask me...by you not correcting your friend has given your bf a reason not to trust you at this point...
