Happy Tuesday Pals! It's been a busy day, always is when I am in the office.  Oh for heaven sake, I have to edit my post. I just got a call from the guy who is renting out the apartment I looked at on Sunday and loved. He didn't want to hold it, but decided that he would take $500 security and then hold it for me until July 1st! I am SOOO happy, it was a bit small, but I loved the location!!! Woo hoo!  I am so delighted for you! That's wonderful news!!  Thanks, Robin. I think just for June I am going to have to drop out of the Pals. Once I am in the new place and all settled I'll be able to resume being a part of the Pals again in July. I am going to have to watch every penny from now til July 1st. I owe rent on this place on June 20th and then need an additional $1400 by July 1. Ugh! Another great idea, Ruby!  That is a great idea. But I can for sure say there is one less thing that I need because..... I got the most amazing gift box from my SECRET pal today. The towels match the shower curtain hooks and toothbrush holder I got last month from Mark. This will be my first time EVER having matching bathroom accessories. There was also potpourri in the box that smells soo pretty. On top of all of that there was a couple matchbox cars and a track for the cars also included for my munchkin. Thank you whoever you are, everything is soo perfect and it sure put a huge smile on my face!  *happy dance* for you!!!

 Okay, here's how this works. Towards the end of every month I will ask for folks to be Secret Pals to someone for the following month. Presently, I am seeking Secret Pals for June. If you would like to participate, write me and give me your home address. Once I have the names of all who would like to participate for that month, I will assign secret pals. You must be willing to share your home address You are to send the person I assign you for that month a surprise, i.e., a card, a note, a refrigerator magnet, a bookmark, a lottery ticket, a postcard.... anything specific to that member or your area would be great, but it can be whatever you choose. Because of issues with packages crossing the borders and the cost involved I'm afraid I have to limit this to the US only. The list will change monthly, so if you want to participate again the following month, you must wrte me and let me know you want to participate again. This is a good reason to start a scrap book! When you receive something from your secret pal, come back here and let us know. |

Happy Thursday! This week has flown by...so much going on at work and long days. My son went to do a house-sitting gig last night (for a month) so he's gone along with most of the stuff he usually has strung about so it's a preview of what it will be like come fall when he goes to college. It will all be okay, of course, but it sure feels weird now.

Good morning and I hope that everyone has a productive day at whatever it is you are doing. I have a slight leftover headache from yesterday. I hope it goes away completely though. I slept for hours and hours when I got home. The teachers and children are so ready for school to be out! My daughter wakes up every morning and says only ---- days left, I can do this. She is giving herself a pep talk! Too funny, I remember doing that when I was her age. Everyone have a terrific day and get some sunshine on your faces.

Oh my goodness! That would be wonderful. I have so much I need to accomplish before I go into the hospital but I am working right up until the week school is out then the weekend is all I have. Oh well nothing that can't be done later I guess.
