Ladies and Gentlemen, My Fellow Patriots, and Texans All:

We've got new marching orders from Campaign for Liberty.

Ron Paul's Audit the Fed bill, HR 1207, is suddenly up to 92 cosponsors and Campaign for Liberty believes a full-court press would help get us past the "100" mark. On Tuesday, April 28, the petitions that we signed electronically on the C4L website will be delivered to our representatives by C4L volunteers in Washington.

The same day, the Campaign wants us to deliver as many signed petitions as possible from our friends and neighbors to the district offices of the representatives who have not yet cosponsored the bill.

Here's what you need to do:

* Print out petitions from the Campaign for Liberty website.

* Collect as many signatures as possible today through Monday. Take petitions to the parking lots of large stores in the district, to local gatherings, to popular parks, or door-to-door. If you are going to an End the Fed Rally on April 25, take along a bunch of petitions to give to the other demonstrators.

* Personally deliver your signed petitions to your representative's local office on Tuesday. Campaign for Liberty's Texas state page has a listing of the local office addresses. Have a friend document the delivery on video if possible. Even a small handful of petitions, personally delivered, will have a HUGE impact.

* If you can, upload the video to YouTube and post an entry on your Campaign for Liberty blog!

For those of you lucky enough to live in a district with a cosponsor, take a fruit basket or cookies or flowers to their local offices on Tuesday and THANK THEM for their cosponsorship of HR 1207! Meanwhile, help a district without a cosponsor to collect signatures!

Tuesday won't be the last day we do this. The following month we will collect even more signatures to deliver. And then the next month, and the month after, until they cosponsor HR 1207. Then they get the fruit basket!

Special recognition will be owed to districts whose representatives are members of the House Financial Services Committee. Double gold stars could be awarded to districts whose representatives are Democratic members of the Financial Services Committee!

Yes, this is a massive undertaking. It will take every ounce of strength we can muster. But we have moved mountains before, and we will move many more before we can rest, secure in our liberty.

Let's do this!

Toward Liberty,

Debra Medina

State Coordinator - Texas

All over that one!

This is what Dr. Paul did with the millions he raised after the presidential campaign.

Anybody care to speculate what McCain did with his?

Thats kinda my point.

Dr. Paul, being a true fiscal conservative, flew coach, slept in Motel 6's and saved that money, he used it to create a interactive political organization and education website, by the people for the people.

His message only grows as does the support for that message.

Redneck advisory!! I know it might be tempting to sign it more than one time. I done thought about that angle. Don't do it!:wink:

"Audit the Fed" Petition to;
Representative _________________

WHEREAS: Congress, the Federal Reserve, and the U.S. Treasury have put the American taxpayer on the hook for over $12 trillion in bailouts and loans; and

WHEREAS: Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke recently refused to
tell Congress who has received trillions in these funds from the Federal Reserve; and

WHEREAS: Allowing the Fed to operate our nation's monetary system in
almost complete secrecy leads to abuse, inflation, and a lower quality of life for every American; and

WHEREAS: Congressman Ron Paul's HR 1207, the Federal Reserve
Transparency Act, would require a full audit of the Fed for the first time in its history and would provide answers to the American people about how our money is being spent;

THEREFORE: It's time to hold the Federal Reserve accountable to
Congress and the American People. I urge you to immediately cosponsor
HR 1207!

The man practices what he preaches.

I'll look around and see if I can find out what the others did with their leftover campaign money, if they had any.

Folks like Romney had to dump personal cash into their campaigns to survive.
