Not sure if this is true or not, but I heard of a story one time that John Fogerty got into a bit of hot water for allegedly plagiarizing this song to write his own hit, "Rock And Roll Girls", from his 1985 album, Centerfield. Like I said, I don't know if it was true or not, but there is DEFINITELY some similarities between those two songs!
