I had a couple Rochefort beers last night and I am in love with it.
Has anyone esle ever had this or no? |

I drink the one and only Miller..faithfully! I like trying new beer, but there have been some horrible snafus with that. I do NOT recommend one called Nightmare - it is quite aptly named! |

I drank Miller in the bottle when I was a kid...but now I stick to mainly "ice" beers...

I also love beer, though, so it's great to find a new one to try! |

How the HE!! do you actually detect plum and pear etc. Amazing. I am a very dyed in the wool vodka drinker too. Everything goes with Vodka! |

I was once a beer connoisseur, beer of the month, owned a micro brew kit, the works...
I have not had a beer in two years and I sort of miss it. Are you referring to the Rochefort Trappist's brews? If so which ones did you taste? |

DEF rochefort is yummmmmmmmmy.. the play I was at had it on tap and I guess its not offered in mnay places at all and what not.. i lucked out I suppose.. he he.. |

I didn't know what my friend was ordering me at the bar so I picked what I thought could be it.. it wasn't what I had before but that is what i def stuck with for the rest of the time there..

There is a microbrewry out here, Rouge River Distillery, They have several great brews. My favorite is one called, "Dead Guy Ale" great stuff!

There's a liquor store near me that has hundreds of imports from all over the world. I muster my courage with some of them, lol, and have had some great surprises come out of it.

That is why I love Total Wine!!! Ha ha. They have many choices of everything -- hard liqor and beers -- they carry my "reminds me of home" Polish beer..

On Tap... likely not Trappist brew then, may have been a micro brew, there are a lot of Rochefort recipes floating around, those Trappist monks did not really take a vow of silence. It is nice to settle into a good brew when out with friends... |
