easiest way to do it is with an FTP client such as WS_FTP LE.
create a profile in the FTP client and connect to your webserver. then
transfer the files with the FTP client from you local drive to the space
on the server.

If you have a www folder on your webserver you will want to transfer
your files and folders keeping your directory structure the same as it
is on your local working site. Also you will want to be sure that the
www folder contains atleast one file named index all lower case. If it
is an index .htm .html .php .asp should not matter as long as it is an
index page. That way when a person goes to that folder on the web it
will find the index page and open it in the web browser. Also make sure
there is only one index file in any given folder you wish to behave
like that.
