A grocery store that I used to work at in the early seventies. Someone threw a dirty disposable diaper on the floor of aisle 6, which was the cereal and baby items aisle. Customers tracked up the aisle through the mess. Guess WHO got paged for the clean-up.
I blocked the aisle off at both ends because I had to sanitize the entire floor area. Customers couldn`t wait for me to finish the clean up and kept tracking up the aisle, and actually had the nerve to complain at me about the mess on the floor. Imagine that. That is why clean up in aisle 6 is an inside joke to me.
