If you don't want it bigger you're pretty much stuck... It must be bigger to be covered with something else... You can get it lasered.. but really if you don't mind it, it's a nice tat and you did cover his name... This is why I've never ever put a persons name on my body..  I hear ya! Tribal is cool that's what I have on my back... EngravenImage is an awesome artist.. Email him and see what he can come up with.. Just tell him what you like, the end result that you prefer and chances are he'll be able to come up with something... You're welcome..
