Depends...what scares you the most? Does it have to be something that could really happen, or can it be totally make believe?

good question!!

For Zombies, and Infection type stuff..28 days later..ohh man, love that one..

For something that could happen...I just watched the Uninvited, and that one was pretty decent...

My all time fave tho is Butterfly Effect Ohh man!!
and Final Destination 1

The birds... messed me up as a Kid for a couple weeks

Rob Zombie's Halloween .... wow

I'm with Cinderella on 28 Days Later, but couple it with 28 Weeks Later, the beginning was intense.

Repo: the Genetic Opera ... Rock Opera Horror, sort of Moulin Rouge meets Coal Chamber and Saw I-IV

ALSO....

if you understand Russian Mythology, Day Watch and Night Watch... the third of this series, Dusk Watch, is rumored to be filmed by an American company.

For Spanish speaking check out, El Espinazo del diablo & La invención de Cronos by Guillermo del Toro.

I liked both of Rob Zombies House of 1000 Corpse and The Devils Rejects.

...and The Twilight Zone:The Movie scared the crap out of me as a kid. That little demon on the plan.....are what nightmares are made of.

Yeah... "Låt den rätte komma in", good stuff.. the version I watched did not have subtitles but the filmography was good enough that the movie made my skin crawl

If you like horror films with a real flavor to them try out John Carpenter's remake of "The Thing." The effects will knock your socks off. It has a very real feel to it also and the tension is unbearable. You are made nervous just watching these people on screen.
