Besides sleep, does anyone know any home remedies for getting rid of the purple under your eyes?
I think I've heard that pressing the back of a cold spoon helps. Can I get a confirmation or a denial on this? |

always wondered what caused that in some people, kinda thought it was nutrition related or health related somehow, maybe that's why women put cucumbers over their eyes,

hi - from a 50 something. hit the Clinique or Estee Lauder counter and get a concealer that matches (perfectly) your skin shade. no one will know the difference and it won't show at all if you get the right shade. if you don't want a bunch of people around, go about 15 min before the store closes.
just my 2 cent's worth, if you're serious with the question. spoons won't work. and get more sleep too |

what causes it though? it can't be age or lack of sleep or we would all have them

I know this might seem gay, but go get some concealer.......at your local pharmacy or mall. Use it. I do, and it works.

Right, people who have allergies often have purple or dark under their eyes. If you have allergies, especially summer and fall, that might be the reason. People who are fair tend to have this also. A tan wlll help too. Good luck youngster.
