Where are all the interesting topics? Its getting boring around here.  
 I have been busy working on some essays about Darwin and Marx, and Modernism

I've been away in the outer reaches of the Internet updating my websites. I check in here once in a while but still can't find a good debate. Is everyone chicken to take on the Jeanniebean?  
 The religion threads have been kinda dead lately With the exception of a couple threads

Yes Abra and me both get so bored that we have to debate with each other once in a while. It's getting real bad when I have to debate with the King of swords. Of course I always win. He can't hold a candle to the Jeanniebean. LOL
He ran away and hid last time.

You don't look 60.. you look maybe like your in your 30's or something. Just had to say that sorry. Nice picture as well. Long profile too lol. Long profile because I've been here for a while LOL. Yep I'm 60. Looking for a younger man. LOL My secret? I did not have any kids, stayed out of the sun, never smoked or drank or took drugs. My only downfall is carbs. I'm on a quest to loose a few pounds and get fit so I can keep up with the 35 year old hunks. LOL Truthfully, I'm not looking for a relationship. Been there, done that. I can dream though. Well you sure did a hell of a job at keeping young, hopefully you find that right guy to be with. Good luck. |

perhaps the numbers of people who use mingle2 on a regular basis are dwindling...? Its not really any different. It just seems like us longtime members have discussed a lot of the same stuff before. The political threads have a lot of action but its a too adversarial topic for most people

Yep we have discussed just about everything to the depths that it can be discussed, now we are out of things to talk about, and to rehash any of it with newbies is just going in circles. So now it's just time to party. I wish we could all get together somewhere and dance the night away. |

ah that too could be it. i suppose there would come a point, after you've been here for ages, when the threads are no longer new... 
the political thread is soo into american politics and current affairs it seems like the rest of us who aren't americans, and who don't follow it's political life religiously, are excluded from the conversation. |
