I have been hanging out with this awsome guy I met him online, just not on here.......anyway we conversate alot. We talk abouit everything that's really COOL! He doesn't drink at all which is good. He does not think that I should drink at all I have never drank around him. Anyway I don't drink alot,but it's fun sometimes! Well he just spent hrs telling me how bad it is & how much it ages you he is 40 & looks like he's 25! Sooooo now i'm thinking about giveing up drinking all together. He has not asked me to do this I just think i'm goingto give it up What do u think about this?

Well Debbie.. if you are doing it for YOU then more power to you.. but if he is just talking his talk to get you to see in his way it is wrong... but your a big girl and you know whats best for you.. don't let any man no matter how good sweet cute or else let you change who you are and what you are.. you do you.. but like i said if you are doing it for YOU then more power to you!!

As an Irishman I am totally against people giving up drink. It's just wrong. There's a recession, support the brewing industry!

I agree with Ella - if YOU wanna do it for whatever reason, more power to ya. I wouldn't let his likes or dislikes about the matter impact your decision what so ever.

I agree, sounds like he has an issue with drinking in general. I wouldn't change anything for him until you know him better. Take about 6 months of dating and then see how you feel about him and what he thinks about things.

He may have been with an alchoholic before which means he is projecting his baggage in that relationship onto you.
