Yes Betty I have been on NCL and a some others too. The very best for fun was a Windjammer Barefoot which I dont think is in business any more.

Yes Betty I have been on NCL and a some others too. The very best for fun was a Windjammer Barefoot which I dont think is in business any more. I have been on NCL Jewel and this one was the Dawn The food on the Dawn was not nearly as good as the Jewel and the staff weren't as friendly either.But none ther less it was still a good trip. I hear NCL is building a new ship to be launched in 2010 it will be 19 floors .Can you imagine?

Betty the new ships are nice. I just think they are too big. I dont want to walk half an hour just to get to the dinning rooom. The other thing about the larger ones is it takes way too long to disembarq. I know the new ones are glitzy but I usually look for ones taht carry 2,000 or less pax. I havent taken any since 2005 but at that time RCL was my favorite.

It gets way to loud and noisy sometimes .where as on the my private little balcomy it is so peaceful and quiet. Have you been to Tortolla?

Hey Tim, you are right about that. The fact that you can just pick up the phone and get a room service meal 24/7 is great too.
