I have an ad in the local community newspapers The new yellowbook comes out in June for Racine and Kenosha. That's two suburbs/cities a little southeast of me. Every week I put an ad on craigslist I looked into those coupon mailer envelopes everyone gets but that's way too expensive. I worked up an info sheet flyer thing but have no idea where or how I'm gonna use it. |

Some of the companies I buy from are in the yellow pages, but not on thier online directory. I would think that would be a great idea. But, hey, online, its just a fad right? Hey Joe! |

This is the yellowbook - different from AT&T yellowpages. But yeah, I'm looking into getting on yellowpages.com and in the yellowpages book too The problem is the book doesn't close until Oct and isn't delivered until something like November. That's a long wait. |

Yeah, not good for the short term. Dang, I am out of ideas.

Yeah, appliance repair is not something you can really do any mailers for or cold-calling. Either your appliances are broken and you need someone now or they're working fine and you don't care. Just a matter of getting started. It takes a long time to get everything rolling. I JUST missed the close of the yellowpages last year. Dangit. |

I'm using my car mostly. My van only gets about 9 mpg and the stuff I carry is small enough to fit in the car. Eventually I'll be hauling around more parts and I'll need the van but for now I need the mileage. |

Yeah, I'll probably go with that later on when I'm using the van more. Then again the shape my van is in maybe that wouldn't be such a great idea. I might end up driving people away. :P |
