Ha! Just move to Arizona then. You won't have to worry about flooding there either and you won't freeze.

Well if you're looking to avoid storms don't head for Alaska! Sure, they don't get the rain and thunderstorms we do here but blizzards are another story altogether!

Well how about 15 to 18 hours of darkness during the winter? I was up there in the summer months and it was GORGEOUS but I wouldn't want to deal with winters there. Although if you can find a job on the north slope you can make some serious coin

i went three days straight in complete darkness this winter so having atleast 6 hours of daylight a day wouldn't bother me

What the heck didja do THAT for? And how? that big ice storm that came through knocked the power out at my brothers' house for 9 days but luckily i was only here a few days til i found out we still had power at home,so i headed back home
