I had 7 fractures after being hit by a softball on my right zygomatic bone. I now have a titaniun plate holding holding it together.

Hope you are feeling fine and back to yourself after that!

Feral.......I hope your hubby is doing well today. Keep up on the pain meds, that'll help when it's time to walk and move the knee. Did they send him home on a continuous passive motion machine?
Hugs, Heather

One normal birth, one C-Section, tumor removed from breast cancer, knee surgery, broken both ankles, both wrists, appendectomy, tonsillectomy, and one arrow in the back from wayward archery hunting....

I had a total hysterectomy a few years ago, cervical cancer. I had a tumor removed in my left breast, the same year.

2007 was a horrible year for me.....I made it though.

Intestional Bypass surgery...1974

Had the operation because I was estimated weight of close to 500 lbs.

Revision of Intestional Bypass surgery...1976

Lost way too much weight. Went from the estimated weight to 165 lbs. in about 16 months.

They do not do this surgery anymore because it is considered too risky. Now they do the Stomach Staple operation.

Kidney Stone removal 1978

Broken right leg Sept. 2007

Broke it from right above my knee to my hip. Had a pin and 4 screws put into my right leg. 3 months non-weight bearing. 3 months in a wheelie. After the wheelie a walker, a cane, and 2 weeks later up and walking without any type of aid.
