methinks there's a function on cell phones which allows you to block contacts if you want.

I wish, but there isn't.

are you sure?

in settings, there is at least a way you can fix the "allow" list to get calls from only the contact groups you specify, isn't there?

Positive, you can only block someone from seeing your number when you call them, this is why I do not give out my cell # unless I kind of know them.......other than that it's open season on your phoneohwell

D: Spray them with soap. Statistics show that most stalkers don't shower.

The overload of cleanliness will kill them.

hopefully he will get bored and move on...I know not everyone is not like him...I have met some really great people on here..

He will definitely move on. I'd ignore it until he does, if you want to keep that number. It would be a huge hassle for me to inform so many of the new number. When it has happened to me, I just let that type wear out w/ no pay~off. GL.

Your FIRST? Wow.

Truth, the MAIN reason that I don't get too close to anyone on here is because I've had TWO. Yeah, I know how to pick em...or vice versa.

One so close I had to call police to keep her outta my door at 2am and again at 4am.

I find it hard to understand what kind of thoughts these people have to have in their heads to stalk people. Its different for me cause I'm a man and never really had to fear being harmed..but it freaked me out.

I met this girl ONE time and took her out. From that day and few weeks afterward, it was 100 calls a day, NEEDing to "see me"...on and on, calling me and showing up at my jobs. Finally, when she refused to quit banging on my door at 2am I called the cops..rather than shooting her to put her out of her (and my) misery. They ran her off and at 4am..there she is ..back again. It was a nightmare. I'm just glad I never slept with the girl. lol

There ARE some nutty folks out there.

What made mine so unbearable is the liberal guard, here in Boulder, just crying for me, locking him up w/ a quick bail and plea bargains that kept him free! He would be back on my balcony in less than 24 hours. It took 4 years and repeated incidents to see him locked up in prison.

Of course, this is Boulder, where the big, easy murderers remain at large. The police literally cry and tell you that their hands are tied. The problem is the probable doubt found in our extremely liberal juror pool mindset. The D.A. knows they will lose, they get no trial experience and are forced to plea bargain down, as even the court appointed defense legals here are the cream of the crop. It is such an extremely vicious cycle.

Luckily, there is very little crime here. Unluckily, it found me. This all coming from a Texan that loathes the injustice of a true police state. But, this is ridiculous, opposite pole extreme.

Also, he should have gotten SO much more time given all the charges. Anywhere else, he'd be lucky to ever see daylight for many more years.

Restraint Orders are relatively easy to get. All you need is to be able to show a pattern of harassment. Then when they contact you it will cost them.

Ah, Boulder, the would be Utopia. So true, great until you need criminal justice. My child and I will likely truly never completely recover from the trauma.

And, to the restraining order post, they work well in business affairs. Even the felony restraining orders do little to quell the unchecked passions of the criminal mind in ongoing substance abuse and/or mentally health issued.

It can work after the fact to get their charges to compile. Many women do not live to see that day, or are very damaged by the time justice is served.

I've worked in outreach w/ it many years. I've seen horrific injuries and deaths. It is a national tragedy.
