Mints are just going to mask it.. You need her to brush her teeth good and tongue then rinse with mouthwash...

....and like motown said some alcohol will deaden your senses and you won't care anymore.. happy

i recently started seeing a woman who smokes and her breath is well..."smokey". is there any type of mint she can take so i don't feel like i am "kissing an ashtray'? be seeing you

I think you should actually kiss an ashtray, then you will realise that this woman doesnt taste so bad after all.

Hey if you want to be kissin' a smokestack, this might not be bad advice.

I smoke BUT I chew gum at all times, use mouthwash before I go to bed, and have never been told I taste like an ashtray!

I dated a man who smoked. I started too. We got married. Course, he then died of lung cancer at the age of 37, 12 yrs later. So the advice to join them and start isn't good advice, IMHO.

The ONLY way to not smell like an ashtray is to NOT smoke.

Thanks! Actually over 85% are caused by smoking. But there does seem to be a pre disposition to it also. flowerforyou

A hereditary disease whose onset can be accelerated through smoking, that is.

True, but it for the most part will have to run in your family for you to get it!

That actually isn't correct. It is caused by toxins be it smoking, mines, industry, etc. An outside source. There are the odd diagnosis of it like Dana Reeve that have no reason behind it, but that is the exception rather than the rule. flowerforyou

Eww, that is nasty... ashtray mouth.. hmm

I have dated smokers and non smokers.. when I didn't smoke.. and never experienced that.. and I never had been told I had ashtray mouth and I was with a non smoker for 5 years... maybe just letting her not smoke so soon before kissing and whatever.. sounds like maybe just proper mouth hygiene would work... huh

It's partly hereditary. It's mostly caused from smoking.
Bladder cancer is caused by smoking too.
