Is speaking your mind being honest, or a excuse too be cruel?

With me it is just being honest. The truth may hurt at times but it does need to be said. It can also help as well.

I do my utmost to be diplomaticaly honest. As in honest yet not cruel.

You can be honest without being cruel. If nothing else, evading the issues to the point to where impassable rifts form in your relationships would be quite cruel.

I would that my communications are never cruel, always honest. That is just my style, I don't understand ~ nor want to understand the converse. Evil comes in many forms, ANY cruelty is always one of them.

I can speak my mind tactfully while not hurting others. I believe in being a peacekeeper.
