i've heard a rumour that a good portion of the people on this site don't use the forums.... i'm curious... what else exactly is there to do here if not that?? are you people holding out on me?

gotta perfect that profile. make sure that every facet of your personality is captured and make sure that no one could possibly misinterpret anything. that and lets not forget mutual match!

Forums are really it But hanging out in them helped me meet lots of nice people Wich leads to lots of e-mails to answer Then I send nudges to those who make me drool!!!

well I signed up hoping it was a dating site, but it doesn't appear to be one since I have had absolutely no luck in that area. So I discovered the forums and find it to be a forum site. Maybe some guys are actually lucky enough to be meeting chicks and using it as such.

People have thought of it as a dating site, they log on , look around, not respond to emails & log off. when I first joined this site I had no idea about the forums here or anywhere, I was actually ready to dump this place ( JSH) & I noticed the forums & looked into it, so almost 2 years later I'm still here.

You can send countless nudges, and attempt to IM and mutual match with everyone on the site. Alright. So, you nudge somebody back and forth a few times. Okay, that was fun. Most people don't even have their IM on. Mutual Match is an absolute farce. So....where does that leave us?

I was on another site for a couple of years & came here expressly for the Forums...that, & the fact that my buddy Krupa was here...

I never even knew what forums were when I first joined a dating site. It tooks me months to navigate my way into them and it was only on the advice of a person with whom I were emailing. The first site I joined had many locals so I was never short of talking with people who lived within easy driving distance. That was sufficient for me.

Forum posters only make up a small percentage of members. I suppose, some are content searching profiles and private email. Seems pretty boring to me, but..to each their own. I've always liked the forums. Participating in and reading forums gives you a much better perspective of people, than a few lines on a profile.

I think a lot people don't know about the forums, I didn't in the begining.
