 I think those feelings can be overcome
I agree,the older you get,an the more time you have to think about life...You come to the point? What IF ??? What IF... I was in their place?

Can a relationship between two people last if one person is incredibly intimidated by the others physical beauty, intelligence and personality?Is it "normal" to feel insignificant and completely unworthy next to such a person?
I doubt it...at least not a healthy relationship. It takes two "whole" people and it doesn't sound like the one who feels insignificant and unworthy loves themselves. |

Well Mirror again you have come up with an interesting question or two to ponder. Would think that if one was "incredibly intimidated...." one would not even reach out to the other. As for feeling being normal to feel "unworthy"...not sure that would be the term I would use. Possibly might think, "what did I do to be so fortunate." Lets face it we all have our insecurities. Sometime they are major...sometime they are not...sometimes they can be "deal breakers"...hopefully they can be talked about. |

Probably not unless they change their point of view.. It sounds like this person is insecure or made to feel insecure by the person they hold so high in value..
If this perfect goddess of a person is genuine and not demeaning then the other person has to find a way to get more secure with them self... Age and maturity will usually lend a hand,,,also working on conquering fears, self exploration for knowledge, exercise, and diet will make you feel extremely confident... This person is just a person like you and me... I have put people on a pedicel at times in the past as well and it's not very healthy to over do that... It's one thing to respect their knowledge and beauty.. It's another thing to make you feel insecure or unworthy in their presence... They should feel happy they find them so attractive and intelligent.. These are important attributes for longevity in any relationship... I hope it works out and they find terms of attraction within them self and their partner that will bring them contentment.... |
