Topic: Two years ago today(12th)

I went on a little trip to sunny Scotland to meet up with a couple of friends i had met online. One of them was a rather lovely female, who is now known on this site as pink_lady. We hit it off big time, in the early hours of the 13th we had our first kiss, by the 14th when the trip was over, we spoke and decided to give things a go. Two years later, its still going strong, and gets stronger all the time. We travel to see eachother every few weeks, but later this year, we will be living together. Online dating doesnt work for all, and LDR's dont suit everybody, but in our case we got lucky. I cant believe two years have passed already. Pretty scary really! Aww!! thanks babe! this makes up for the card lol! Seriously, 2 yrs ago my life changed, for the better. I met a man who i already loved as an online friend, and the friendship love evolved to romantic love. Dan is the goofiest, funniest, sweetest, caring and kindest man ive ever met, and my life could never be the same without him now, hes defo my 'other half' or 'better half' even! When ppl meet Dan, they get a surprise, anyone who has met him already will verify that. Altho he is still witty and sarcastic, u get to see his gentleman nature, and his kindness..... he is one very special guy who i love very much. As Dan said, i am making a big move this year to be with him, LDRs can be very difficult, but we HAVE managed to remain very solid, and our love has just grown. As Dan said, LDRs CAN work, or at least in our case it has, i think it helped that we were good friends for about a yr before we met up....the respect was already there, the rest just fell into place. Anyhoo, a big thanks to Dan (HAPPY ANNIVERSARY BABE!), and all who have posted their good wishes!

I already promised you, if you ever put a rock on her finger, I'll do whatever I have to do to get across the pond. I wouldn't miss that for the world, especially for two of the finest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Cheers, mate. That means as much to me as it does Dan. Thanks Keith, and ya know wat, maybe ya better start saving, cos this lady is gonna wed her man! (its ok, ive already told Dan this! lol!)
