I saw it at the theatre and it was awesome! My church has a cell group for married adults or people believing for restoration of their marriage to go through the 40 day love dare. Awesome book too.

Just wanted to let yall in on some info that you may or may not already know about the movie. It is the third movie that the kendrick brothers have made. Alex and stephan kendrick are members @ sherwood baptist church in albany, georgia who put together a film ministry as an outreach to the community. Every person involved in the making of these movies including the actors are all church volunteers involved in this ministry. They started with a very low budget film, "Flywheel", then made "Facing the giants" and now "Fireproof". Every one of these movies is exceptional and delivers a very powerful message. If you liked fireproof, i strongly recommend you see the other two. I applaud the kendrick brothers for creating this ministry and ministering to others in this way.

I saw it in the theater and loved it! I never saw previews just the posters hanging up while we waited, it wasn't what I expected at all, but it was great! I'd definitely see it again.

I saw the movie back in November and cried through most of it!!! I wonder if the book tells more of the story such as what called the bitterness the wife felt. Was it just the porn addiction or was there more to that story that we didn't see in the movie?

i dont know but my prayer is that this movie saves lots and lots of marriages. Churches are really spreading it around. Our church is actually doing a movie night and showing it. I hope it touches many.

I rented it thinking it was an action film. I was pleasantly surprised that it was a decent movie about how to heal a marriage. The acting and dialog is not top notch and the religious aspects could have been a little more subtle, but the story and message were very good. I have already recommended it to two couples who might get some benefit.

The book goes along very well with the movie and is a great reference guide to healing struggling marriages.
