I was out walking my dog today, taking advantage of the nice weather. We were approaching the path that leads into a park, and a kid on a skateboard rolls up just behind me. I'm guessing his age to be no more than 19. Anyway, he says "Nice looking husky!" so I politely respond "Thank you". The next words out of his mouth were "So, are you seeing anybody?"



I'm not usually caught off guard like that, so for a moment I just gaped at him in utter shock. I then said "I'm sorry, what?" and he repeated the question. I laughed then, and said that I appreciated the compliment but I was old enough to be his mother. He shrugged, hopped on his skateboard and rolled away.

I know I should be flattered, but I think I'm just too bemused by the whole thing, lol.

UGH! That term makes me ill!

I'm not overly fond of it myself, lol, but it's apparently the "correct" term for now. *shrug* The first time I heard it, I had to ask what the heck the person meant...I had no clue.

funny there coming out with a tv show about Cougars.

I doubt that cougars are the so called " in thing ", but what do I know.

Most people think I am younger then I really am, which I am not complainting about at all... just wired is all.

Sure I find some older woman " hot lookin " not too sure what other words to say, but sometimes I get a longer with people older then me, even if it is by a few years. I can't or wouldn't say I would date some one half my age because I don't think I would. But never know for sure either, because there are two sides to it and as some say to each there own.
