"You dirty ...dirty man you. Looking up Jess' swishy skirt" Would that be looking up or looking down when your down under? I give up! I wonder Jess, do your world globes have Aussie on the top hemisphere? You people feel like your on the top of the world. Or did you somehow get stuck with our northern conventions??? I've always wanted to go to Australia. I was fascinated with Australia since grade school. Every time we were asked to write a report on a foreign place I would always pick Australia. So I actually learned something about the place as I was growing up. Although, I’ve forgotten most of it now. The one thing that I’ve always wanted to see is the Magellanic Clouds. We can see Andromeda here and it’s pretty cool. Your entire night sky is completely differnet from our. I think that would be fantastic to see. So if I ever went to Aussie Kat I’d definitely be looking up! Precisely what I’d see is anyone’s guess. |

Abra, we're modest here, we are happy to rest down here, right side up, on the southern side of the ball.
We have so many influences here, from every corner, it feels like a multi -national bazaar, every culture, every colour, every imaginable shape and texture and taste!!! I think we tried to be arrogant for a minute and portray this bronzed blue eyed blonde 'Aussie', but it got laughed off stage pretty quick. Australia, to me, is the best of every corner of the world, breaking bread around the one table. The northern influences???? EVERY INFLUENCE, that's what makes here so wonderful, we're a fairly lazy lot, in our tightly gripped beliefs, we are much more, 'you show me your, I'll show you mine, and make the best of both' kind of people. The night sky? Breathtaking, and so very full, and yes I know we share the planets, but stars, I dont know what constellations are different. Sadly, I have to admit I have not seen the Magellanic Clouds.. And skirts seem to hang the 'right way ' up. |

Abra, I'm such a ditz...I just blackled the Magellanic Clouds....duh!!!
It's the ole 'see it so often you don't see it anymore'...and not knowing their names.. We can see them everynight...right above our house!!! |

Your eyes have seen stars in heavens that I can only imagine Your on the far side of a planet in other time in a universe that to me is but a dream I can touch your eyes with my fingertips and send my thoughts through cyberspace to appear upon your glowing orb of crystal Such magic in our world today to touch the soul of another so far away From an Enchanted Mossy Forest on an Inland Mountain Range to the Shore of a Southern Ocean and a Woman who’s Deranged Swishy Skirts and Magic Wands Stars, and Waves, and Flowers Poetry in cosmic ponds to pass away the hours ~~~ |

The answers I seek
I seek for myself In the fog of my memory I once knew them So I go within And find I am Simply I am I simply am It makes sense to me That s all that matters When the world shatters My senses mixed with emotions Brewing and steaming in time To explode upon impact And I will know.. All that I have known before Time is but fleeting in a mere mortals sense And my sense is beyond the normal constraints Time begins but does it ever end Who are we to say, we are but a moment in this time Glittering briefly as a star shines And in the end, our end, it matters not |

Abra, same as you; Australia has been a fantasy of mine. Such a beautiful wondrous place. I have since being a child so wanted to see and be there to experience what it has to offer. My first memory of Australia is seeing Gochos riding their horses across the lands. Such poetry inspiring, Australia is.
If you ever go Abra, I very much want pictures and detail of your ventures. Kat |
