Topic: Easter Plans???

Friday I am participating in an egg hunt for the park residents. Sat the mobile home community I live in is having a picnic. Sunday will be spent alone daughter has to work an 11 hour shift, and son is back in PA.

Easter weekend? since when did it become a weekend event? Well to be honest I am like prisoner here.. its just another day. I spent 6 weeks in Israel seeing and experinecing all the places where Christ did .. and you know what? I came to believe that the bible is nothing more then a history book. And "religions" interpete it to their own ways or tastes in belief of it.. I believe in my heart and thats all that matters to me.. but to celebrate "easter"..... ummm no thanks. side note please don't report me to the spelling police .

going to do some Easter cooking color eggs with the kids and just enjoy another hoilday we should all be thankful for what we have

I will be going to the sunrise services and then the blessing of the fleet. I have been putting in so many hours. The thing I crave the most is sleep. I have a date with my bed afterwards.

I don't celebrate Easter for religious reasons. It's just a good time to get together with family. Though, it's usually a weekend thing, as it's on a Sunday.. people are often off for Good Friday, do Easter related things on Saturday, then something on Sunday as well.

It became a weekend "thing" since I am off for three days and Good Friday is tomorrow. Going to spend every minute I can with my daughters and enjoy each others company and I tend to laugh so hard my sides split.

Dinner at my folks. What is your favorite thing that your mom makes for Easter? Actually....my dad cooks. And he smokes a turkey that is to die for.

For Easter, I will be with my two sons, there will be easter baskets for them, they will hunt for eggs, and then we will go to church, and out to eat, then go home and play with the new toys... its also the beginning of the schools spring break week here...
