Here comes the label crap again, I don't fit the B.S. right left, because it's all illusion, smoke and mirrors.

I believe in our Constitution and our Bill of Rights and whether you love Bush or you love Obama, both are guilty as Madoff for the destruction of our Republic.

And you really think Obama is you friend and has your best interests in mind?
Lots of wool out there.
But, no matter, now, you belong to Europe.

what because he made a deal that we all play by the same rules and accounting standards??

thats just common sense man.

the problem with conservatives is not that their ideas are dumb
the people are
just rant and scream and throw hyperbole like monkey fecal matter.

if you and the rush limpbah's of the world learned to actually focus on policy and not name calling and the behavior of 3rd graders you might actually win an election.

No, because he made a deal that oversteps his boundaries and places America under yet another Global agenda.
Thats not common sense, thats a step to worldwide Totalitarianism.
I'll choose to ignore the weak insult about stupid people and move on to the idea of winning elections. Lets step away from the idea of rigged elections (blackboxvoting.org) and do the math. Reagan-2 terms, Bush the Greater-1 term, Clinton-2 terms, Bush the Lesser-2 terms, Obama- at least 1 term. Looks to me like the False left isn't exactly batting a thousand when it comes to elections, but anyone who bothers to read more than 1 perspective, knows these things are rigged beyond belief. Greg Palast proved beyond a shadow of a doubt these things are fixed now and so has Bev Harris.

I'm supposed to believe that Bush rigged both his elections, but it suddenly stopped for Obama? LOL! Yeah, right.

Common sense would not be to give Europe a 6 to 1 vote on how our Nation is managed.
Now, the only person, between you and me, doing any name calling is you.

What i find personally ammusing, and sad, is the fact that these left-winged libs were saying the same things when Bush was in office.

Take the Patriot Act for example. Now that Obama voted to reinstate it, and obviously supports it, you don't here them complaining do you? It's horrible for G.W. to take away our fourth and fifth amendmends but when B.O. takes away our first and second, while continuing to keep our fourth and fifth out of the picture it's seen as "progressive".

Different front man. Same policies. Same people in power.

Yet, somehow people are tricked into thinking this is something different. Worst of all the lefties can't use logic to explain their standpoint. All they can do is attack.

Interesting, very interesting.

What's really funny is the fact that i never really considered myself right aligned. I'm against Bush, was against McCain, now i'm against Obama so i'm a right wing conservative. I am losing faith in our liberals on here, i really am.

You and me both, actually I was afraid this was going to happen, but I held out hope that they would see through the B.S.

Another thought though, if we can get even one person to break through the right/left glass ceiling, then all this frustration at the pushers of the status quo will have been worth it.

I really didn't have hope. I saw MOST of the people voting for Obama without even understanding his policies. In fact, remember right after he was elected they started a post right here on Mingle2 about how things were gonna "change"?

I remember at least two people mentioned he would "bring the troops home from Iraq, and set fire to the patriot act".

He's always supported the patriot act, and he also supported Bush's foriegn policy with the exception of Iraq. Only thing is, in Obamas words Bush didn't do enough. We needed to increase our budget by 50 billion dollars in "military and civilian aid to third world African countries" and he also want to increase our involvement in Afganistan and conduct operations into Pakistan, which already pissed of the Pakistanis. This info was on Obama's campaign page.

So far we've seen these large heavily flawed bills being pushed through congress under the Bush administration, and the same bills are being pushed through in the same manner under Obama. I really see no difference. Although i didn't start REALLY getting nervous until they started pushing to take our guns away...

Yeah, you are right. There are only, maybe two or three on here that might listen. The others still think Ron Paul is a religious extremist trying to force everyone into christianity...lol

Well, my hope was, that the minute Obama started defending and protecting the Bush folks, they would snap to attention, you know "What the sodding hell?!"

It's just not happened on anything more than a infinitely minuscule scale at this point.

Man, they are pushing for the guns... I've been hearing that it's possible some of these mass shootings are going to be used as a pretext to ramp that crap up. Of course some folks are looking at it as a inside job, but I haven't had a chance to look at it.

Maybe I need to...

You are right. Maybe they will learn over time.

BTW the way i found peace with the whole outlawing of guns, is the simple fact that the black market will flourish with them when they are gone. They may be more expensive, but getting your hands a on a belt-fed machine gun will be that much easier if you have the money.

I figure soon after they pass something like HR 45 is about the time we will be needing arsenal like that...

How exactally will they be able to disarm us.

Making the sale of guns illegal will simply mean that those who did not purchase a gun before the change will have a harder time getting one.

Those that allready have guns...

How much would it take for the gov to take those guns?

It's like the drug wars. You know how easy it is to get your hands on pot. They can't go door to door searching people simply because of the massive manpower it would take.

HR 45 says that if you don't have a special permit, anything with a pistol grip, detachable magazine, handgun, or semiautomatic, will become illegal to own as well.

So if you are caught shooting in your back yard with one of these and you don't have a special federal firearm liscence, you go to jail for a minimum of 3 years providing you are caught.

But, like pot, they will be everywhere. It will just make the black market grow, gangs more rich, and people will have access to more deadly weapons.

I don't know enough about the European Union. What I do know is we will only have 1 vote to 6 European votes as to how the US will be managed.
If there is pandemonium, protests, riots, etc., can UN Troops be ordered here to restore order and take down the dissenters?

Not sure how true that is but supposedly the U.N. has a right to now. I think that act passed under the clinton, or Bush sr. administration.
