i went through this last year with my little one (hers was an emergency appendectomy), don't worry....he'll be fine and if something does happen (god forbid) the doctors will be there to help him out.....

i can feel what your going through,
my son was admited in the hospitol the end of dec of 2007 as he had been sick a week before and a few days after xmas my mom had taken him to the doc as where they had him admited in the hospitol for he had pneumonia, he was in pediactrics where they rushed him into icu where he went into cardiac arrest they had 3 doc that had to revive him. not only did he have pneumonia but issue with his lungs, heart and only kidney.. he was in the hospitol for a total of 3weeks... hes 22 but hes a special needs child he has a mind capcity of a 12yr old.... hes pretty smart....

lil update on my lil guy , we're home and he is doing pretty well I think , I dont think he is in pain an he yanked out a stitch a little while ago OMG!! no no lil one!! thats holding together the work they did dont touch! yikes! this is hard for mom .... I'm trying to get him to rest so I can rest to but he is full of energy it seems , oh well that must mean he is doing well THATS the main thing :)

If he can drink milk- try some warm milk.
Its an old remedy my Mom used on all of us kids if we were hyper
before bedtime.
