it seems on one hand, millions of pieces of data are not disclosed to the American people, under the guise of "national security"???

then, we have russian and chinese spies, somehow break in and do some dirty deeds, right under our noses, and it makes front page of one of the largest newspaper's in the country, one that happens to be a member of the council on foreign relations???

why announce this to the American people???

why announce our electrical grids are vulnerable???

since when does the administration admit it's vulnerablitities???

since when does the administration admit security breaches to the US public???

millions of other questions, and they are not answered???

only when it serves the end GOAL.

ironic, legislation is currently on the table to allow total shutdown of the internet by the administration if deemed "to preserve national security"???

to divide a peoples "one from another" is to control and conquer a peoples???

nice timing on the chinese and russions spies, for such perfect timing???

certainly helps to justify such mentioned legislation seeking to be passed???

if such a huge breach of American security ACTUALLY HAPPENED, IT WOULD NEVER BE BROADCAST???

just thoughts...

peace

Nuclear Power Plants are operated by computers.
Electrical Grids, High Tech spy-satellite monitoring sites, even the GPS Guidance systems on fighters, etc...

The more technologically dependent we become the worse the threat.
Cyber terrorism is a real threat to our National Security.

Balderdash...

Any SENSITIVE computer system(i.e Nuc Plants, Government systems, etc) should be ISOLATED from the net. Isolated as in NOT ATTACHED directly... NOT CAPABLE of recieving input from the net.

Would solve a big part of that threat.

Problem is that there is a lot of usable information for the government on the net. The net saves a lot of time and money. There are a lot of agencies, federal and state, linked together, exchanging information. The computer security is probably as near good as it can be.
