Guys, who is complaining. A simple question. I and several friends including several women had this discussion. I can say it was a little more mature than this. So everyones opinion is that a woman must be chased by a man. There is no reason for a woman to pursue a man.

Why play games at all? That's what I don't understand. Why not just be open and say 'Hey, I'd like to get to know you better' and be done with it?
Women crack on men all the time for being players and making generalities, but don't women do the same thing?
Why do you want to be pursued? If you're interested, SAY SO, same thing for if you're not.

I agree, but I just find it very closed minded to say that a man must pursue a woman. So women will just sit idly by when they are interested in a man?

Not me LOL It's a fine line between being pushy and looking uninterested. I know my first time out I wondered how to show I was interested without him thinking I'm like stalker crazy...I hadn't dated in 8 years.
Maybe there should be a class lol

1) make eye contact
2)walk over
3) say hi
4)ask them something general to get the conversation going.
5) go with the flow
6) very impressive if you can do it without alcohol in your system
7)have fun

Ok, got that part...what about after that first date? How do you (beyond the obvious I had a good time phone call) do you show interest???

If she wants you, she will have initiative; otherwise, she is not interested.

If she wants you but doesn't make a move then she is playing games -- move on.

The advice is converse. winking

I don't see the problem here. whoa

If you're assuming that everyone's opinion is that a women must be chased by a man, you didn't read all the responses.

Seems to me people jump to assumptions. I am one who believes a woman can do anything a man can do, including courting someone. Again, its 2009.

Perhaps you should re-explore your approach to meeting women. You want to meet independent thinking girls at a bar? Wrong answer....they are out to get laid at bars. On Mingle, you have to have a stright forward approach and ask well thought questions to get respectable answers.

Where would you suggest he meet independent-thinking women?

No buddy, I did very well in the Army and the matter of fact is that I never allowed soldiers under me to stupe to name calling each other. Its teamwork in the Army. I would have never survived Afghanistan or Iraq if we all called each other names. I am now a reservist. Join the Army and serve your country, do combat duty and then I will take you seriously. Now this thread has gone over board, but again name calling stupid and childish. Am I pissed, yes I am. An adult wants to stupe to name calling. Whats next, playground fight? Amusing very amusing!

You called a girl "buddy"?

If Lee aka Jess642 wasn't such a lady -- she might STOOP to a lower level and kick your booty!

Relax! Everyone is cool here. If you post and ask for opinions, you have to be prepared for the replies -- all of them -- whether you like them or not. winking

Have a good night!
