I didn't noticed this until like seconds ago of signing back online to AOL. all of a sudden there is this new buddy list on my buddy list.

I tired to deleted it and it won't let me do it.. it won't go no where. Not even sure how it got there because I have not download or install anything.

It's called Bebo Friends. It say's I have two friends under Bebo.

I just never heard of this and since I never installed anything it makes it more crazy.. to me at least that is.

Any idea if there is a way to remove this ? scared

I agree Pats! I got rid of them since they were so overpriced and did not offer the service for what they were charging.

Funny because it's free for me. Yes I said free.. if you have High speed cable or DSL etc.. it's free, it's been like that for a few years now.

And if you download aol it attaches like a hundred others things that you don't need bogging down your pc

yeah well.. after more reading into this new thing.. I just found out some how they have been getting requests to get this new type of service. So if you have facebook or any other thing I guess it's on automatic or something to add friends etc from those sites.

Kinda stuiped I think.

Probably so, but even if you do remove aol.. there is still pics of it arounds on your pc, it never goes away from what I have been told.. could be wrong.

lol.. must be aol dumbass's that programed it that way... so you can never get rid of it. Which is stuiped.

Only other way to remove it is to get a new windows os cd rom and wipe out your old system and reinstall it and bang you won't have noting on it.. could be wrong but it seem's like the only way to remove it.

There are IM clients besides aol's that will let you use the aol protocol and many others simultaneously without having to have aol installed on your pc.

There's another way, but it takes forever and I don't recommend it for anyone unfamiliar with the Windows registry. A friend of mine finally saw the light and was removing AOL, it took me almost four hours to remove all the garbage.

Wow four hours. That's about as long depending on the speed of a person pc and all as it would take to reinstall everything after wipping out the whole OS system and reinstalling it.

However AOL doesn't bother me as much as it does every body else, not sure why it bothers every body else so much, but I guess I'm just used to AOL software / program.

Yeah... I know. Makes no real differences to me, however I am just so use to using aol and all it's no big deal.

Remove the blinders from your eyes. The pc world is so much more than the shadows on the wall. drinker
