I adore what I do. I love going to work everyday. It is always something different, it is a challenge. I get to go inside places and hear things most people only see on TV. I meet with the worst of the worst and some very sad individuals, but that is a gift. It allows me to be reminded of what I have, how wonderful my circumstances are, and the joy and beauty around me. Plus I have great health benefits. If my job was in Providence, I'd be the luckiest person I know.

My ex was a firefighter. In the town I grew up, it was volunteer. If I had known it could be a career, I would've done it!

I loved used to run a public swimming pool and I absolutely loved it! It was challenging and dynamic. Being a teenager's first boss puts you in a great place to watch (and hopefully be a positive influence) them grow toward being responsible adults.

Long as I've been in school, I'm a professional student by now. Too bad I don't get paid for it. Professional student would be my first choice if it paid better... Meanwhile, the job I've got I love. No complaints!
