Those who I know in my world with great authentic self esteem, are incredibly content...balanced people.

I cannot see how someone can have contentment, or 'happiness'...with low or poor self esteem.

Ive questioned maslow so many times.......I believe its all bull crap!!!

I see the parallels...in clients, and it is a great 'reference point' to guage where they are at...however, like Freud....we have grown up a bit since their time... and also our societal disorders are quite unique to this ever evolving rapid pace society.

Suppression is less, self help is way more....and the more people allow themselves to be labelled, the more their dis-orders can reek havoc on their perception of themselves.


I still wanna know what comes after self actualisation...
