Topic: Are you happy?? | |
---|---|
I am self employed. I bling things. I work with a rainbow of colour every day.
I looked for a job for 6 months. Executive Assistant I decided to work for myself. My family decided I had gone barmy. I am very happy. I am in total control of every aspect of my life. |

I am content....happy is a temporal emotion. And my place or choice of work does not control my sense of contentment...or as currently, my lack of work.. Well said. I`m in the same boat. |

I like my oldest daughter's career choice when she grows up: she wants to be a lottery winner!
~~~~~ I've worked in education for years and I feel quite passionately about it. I'm not a teacher, my roles have been in central administration and recently, I've moved into a school-based position, so that I can continue to have the same time off as my children and enjoy my most important job (the one that pays really crappy, haha). |
Happy enough.
I run a shelter for abused children - my kids are the worst of the worst, the ones that no one else will take. I love my job, though the $$$ is not that great, I don't do it for the $$$.
Before that, I was a police officer, a juvenile probation officer and a teacher. I miss policing the most. |
I work in a middle school with children who have special needs. Some days it is very trying on the nerves. My night time job I work in a tool factory. Very dirty and hot but it keeps me in shape. I don't LOVE either of my jobs, however it pays the bills.
I am content in my job and will be as long as it stays challenging.
I would truly be happy if I won the lottery and did'nt have to have a real job. Money does'nt buy happiness, but it sure as hell gets rid of most annoying problems, and that's a major step up imo. |
I am a project coordinator for a telecommunications company. Some days I really like it. Other days, I don't. For the most part, though, I'm happy with it.
