Has anyone ever had a friend with benefits and acutally fallen in love with that person?

What if ya both say that you are not looking for a relationship at this time. Do you still think they can fall in love?

All I can say is it can get really akward the longer you go.

FWB are wonderful, until you fall for them or them for you. Then it is akward because all of the glorous, unbridled, sheets soaked with sweat, comming up for air hours later sex turns into all shy, coy and self doubt. And because you have the fwb relationship - you fall hard for that person because they are such a wonderful friend....with all of the benefits.

I understand the idea. However I feel that it takes an ability that I just dont have or want to have to be able to carry it off with a happy ending for both partys. *no pun intended*

I have seen this type of thing lead to marrage. conversly I have seen a friendship break up over it.

for my part Ill stick to sex with someing Im dateing.

It then can grow into something more than just a friendship. Starting off as friends tends to do that I think.

I am not sure if I am ready for this he is a nice guy but think in the end I could fall for him and not sure if he would feel the same.

if you pause its with good reason. go with your gut not your hormons. if he falls for you as a friend then all the better. remember the saying. why by the cow when you get the milk free.

I had one, and broke the rules as well. He didn't and now we aren't even friends anymore. It just really isn't worth it.

We are not a good match because he wants kids -- and there are other tiny differences between us -- but we have benfits!! GOOD, hot, benefits!

If either of us starts to date someone then we back off without issue or drama.

We are in a group of about 15 people -- all friends since college. None of our other friends know about our arrangement. We've kept it a secret for 8 years.

We get together twice or three times a month, have dinner, go to a movie, club -- a regular date -- and then ... you know .... and he goes home!

friends with benefits? why dont u just either get 2gether or just play th feild if u dnt want to?it safes any heart ache if u end up liking them but they find sum1 else. u should tell them u like them before its too late

I myself have never done the FWB thing..I believe someone will ALWAYS end up getting hurt. Plus you will take a great friendship and tear it apart, why in the world would you do that for sex? If I have a guy that I am buddies with, the last thing I would want to do is waste that friendship..you really need to think about it.
