BROWNIE PUDDING CAKE
1 c. flour 3/4 c. sugar 2 tbsp. cocoa 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla 2 tbsp. oil 3/4 c. walnuts (optional) 3/4 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. cocoa 1 3/4 c. hot water Mix flour, sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa, baking powder, salt, milk, vanilla and oil in bowl. Pour into greased 8 x 8 inch pan. Combine walnuts, brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa in bowl. Add boiling water and mix well. Pour over batter in pan; DO NOT MIX. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Pudding type sauce will form under brownies. Tastes great warm with vanilla ice cream. This is good warm or cold. |

Or, make a single layer cake. Take a wooden spoon and poke holes almost through the cake. Take 2 boxes of instant pudding, make as directed. When it is almost set, pour over the cake, making sure to fill the holes and then frost with the remainder of the pudding. Let the pudding set all the way and voila, pudding poke cake
