when you can not be yourself, around certain people? Do you watch what you say? Do you enjoy putting on a show? (i think people, like people, who can be themselves.)--In other words; your emails, and your posts in the forums, should be the real you.

No eggshells here. The last time I walked on eggshells was when I was with a woman beater and tried not to get him riled.
I am more personal in my emails then on the forums but it is still me either way. |

There's like 3 different questions in there....
I do think there are folks in this world who do create an atmosphere around with them so that other folks feel like they need to walk on egg shells to get along with them. I don't think that means they are not being themselves, or real, though. I am also more personal in e-mail, but then that also depends on the context of the mail and to whom I am speaking. Be it here in the forums, e-mail or in the RW, I am just... me. |

In the professional world there are times that you may not be able to be totally yourself there is balance of tempering what you think and feel with the surroundings you are in. |
