I'll be the first to admit, I'm lousy at it so I don't even bother. Walls are bare, furniture doesn't match, etc. I tried painting our apartment once (got sick of white) and decided that picking out paint is NOT my strong suit, who knew that paint colors on the wall are much brighter and darker than they appear on those little color swatches. The yellow in my kitchen was blinding and the green for my son's room gave him nightmares

My house is pretty bare too. Not alot of clutter. I cant stand clutter. Im slowly repainting and buying things.

Ohhhhhhh you dont even want to see the bright neon green that I painted my living room with. It was so bad I had to repaint it the next day!!!

 I'm so glad it's not just me. I can't stand the clutter, myself. Drives me nuts. I want bare tables, bare walls, etc. The only thing I want full is my book shelf. My desk is a mess but I try to keep up with that, with occasional success. If I don't have an out of sight place for something, I don't need it! |

Im going to redo my sons old room soon....when the weather is better. Ive started taking the junk out at least. And Im thinking of repainting my bedroom and spray painting my dressers a dark expresso brown. Its cheaper than buying new furniture.

if you sand them down and wipe a stain onto them it will make them look like new,,,, and put a laquer over it
|

and then......when it looking freaking fabulous I will prolly sell this place!!!
