Everyone has preferences... that's the point of having a profile... If you are afraid of a woman that knows what SHE wants... *shrug*
Speaking for myself, there is nothing that a gal can have in her profile that would turn me off... I guess if she said "I love my dog and I love spreading peanut buter... yadda yadda yadda... I my take a moment to think |

Upon looking at different women's profiles, if I see certain words or phrases, I tend to pass them up. Here are a few: 1)I am very strong woman (to me, it means they have been threw a lot, so anything you say or do will piss them off) 2)I am very independent (well thats good, but as above, I wonder what they are really trying to say. I guess its not as bad as "I am very dependent" lol) 3)I am a professional woman (There is nothing wrong with having a "profession" you enjoy doing but...this could be a "your job better be as good as my job" statement. 4) I am straightforward and blunt. (How about just say your honest. Straightforward and blunt to me implies they will say rude things and think they can get away with it.) 5) I love to party. (well I do too, but when I read this statement, I picture a girl hoping from guy to guy in a bar demanding attention. Not sure why.) 6)I'm looking for someone not to break my heart. (I am too, but advertising it to me is slightly fishy. I have been down this road before with women, and a lot of the self proclaimed "heartbroken" ones will be the quickest to do the same to you. Can't think of any more right now. Oh, and don't take any of these personally if you have them on your profile. To each their own. Just thought it would be fun to see if people have their own things they don't like to see. So let's look at this shall we? 1). I am a very weak woman. 2) I am so needy and dependent I can't wipe my bottom for myself. 3) I don't have a job, see 1) and 2).. 4) I am so vaccuous and vapid I have no opinion other than yours honeybuns... 5) I can't leave the house...see all of the above. 6) I don't have a heart, I'm a stepford wife. There's the flipside to what puts you off Adam....mmmmmmmmmmmmmm so appealing!

I pass on the overdefensive threats and ultimatums like "I'm a heavy girl and if you don't like it you can die, eat sh!t, or f*ck off"! Or who can forget the "I have 4 kids and if you don't like it you can die, eat sh!t, or f*ck off"! Or how about the everloving "I have 12 piercings and 20 tattoos and if you don't like it you can- yup you guessed it- die, eat sh!t, or f*ck off"! I mean seriously- who wants to date a mean threatening person? Keep advertising that 8th grade education. Saves me lots of time.

Although I don't have exactly the same topics as you exampled, I do like the night club scene in Vegas and Hollywood. Just because I do, doesn't mean I slut around from guy to guy! "   Hmm, my irritants are: - Looking for someone real - No Drama - Wazzzz up - Just ask or ask me anything - I'll fill this out later - Does this really work - Any comments related to their ex - Over zealous statements about church or religion - References to being an avid pot smoker After I open their profile, I go directly to the stats to check for: - If they have kids or want kids - deal breaker - Height - taller than 6.0 please - Non smokers only - I prefer someone that drinks at least once in a while. I can't date someone who can't enjoy cocktails or a beer once in a while. - HAIR - I must have hair (not digging the Mr. Clean look). I wish there was a section to ask about body hair (no fur balls please).

I heartily agree! That attitude seems to be coming out of more and more women all the time.Especially the younger generation.I get a kick when they say at 19 that "I know what I want and don't try to change me." No girl in the world at that age knows what she wants because she hasn't experienced anything yet.Really shows her willingness to compromise and work as a couple,huh? And no,I'm not chasing 19 year olds.

Also, don't want to mislead anyone. If they are looking for someone always to be a 'yes' woman, that would not be me. I have been through a lot, learned a lot and would expect the same for anyone my age. 2. I am very independent. I'm not looking for anyone to 'complete', support or fix my world for me. I would like someone to share a life, be mutually supportive and to be a partner with me in this life. 3. 'Professional'? Pfft..."I just load the truck"...pretty much what all of us do, in one way or another. 4. Blunt may be unkind sometimes, but give me a straightforward person, and I will have someone I can trust. 5.
