I have 4 including one down my spine that took two artists 14 hours to do and one that was hand picked with a deer bone needle (by my grandfather). Yikes! |

I like tats of quotes - they help me keep my focus where I need it each day when I see it in the mirror. It's like a very short bible I can never lose, forget, or not have access to.

It didn't hurt too bad the first time. The tattoo had to be redone because the colors faded and looked like crap after about 6 weeks. THAT hurt. Tattoing over a tattoo that has just healed...not good. I had it outlined in black nearly two years later. THAT hurt even more. My foot was twitching involuntarily because of all the nerves in that spot. I was actually limping home. Hey...but it looks great now, so it was worth it.
