So I am a new Mingle person. What is this friend thing? I was looking at some profiles and I see its not uncommon to have "friends." But what is the point of "adding" a friend? What does that do?

Well most of the people on my friends list are those I email almost everyday. Others are those I like to keep arounnd just in case I need them from time to time. Others are just so damn cute I like to look at them is all!

It just makes it easier to keep in touch with the people you have a connection with.

Since my last post I think I understand the friends thing..You add friends as you see someones profile that you enjoy either "looking" at orrrrr you enjoy talking to/reading what they have to say so by adding the peoples profiles it gives ya easy access to them, like a "shortcut"...I get it now....I'm catching on

Billy I would stay in the threads allow others to get to know you.. I'm going to bet if you start throwing out friends request in the dark you are going to be turned down

What happens is you stay in the forums & get to know people & make friends, chances of finding someone or getting a date from here ( unless you have an airplane) very slim, it's just the way it is here. Welcome
