On a GOOD week? Maybe 2 or 3 views, on the outside.

I get a lot of pervs pervin' my profile too. I usually don't give them any attention until they start to get a little more brazen with their bull-honkey- that's when I typically block them.

I wonder how many guys think I am a creep? I look at profiles all the time sometimes the same ones and I don't contact them.

And 23 nudges this month, mostly due to a 'reach out and nudge somebody' thread.

How do you know they're creepy?
My dear girl...

How do you know the wind is cool on an October evening?

You're not answering my question . Profiles are there to be looked at, so of course lots of people look at profiles. I don't really pay much attention to them unless they actually email me. Once they do that, I can usually tell if they're creepy or not.

I did have one creep perv me consistently and constantly, all day long; every time another person looked at me, his name would almost immediately supercede it. He never, ever wrote to me.

He was a married man, looking for love and, while I can't fault people who are in lonely relationships, and choose not to leave for whatever reason, I don't want to be the object of their desire. It wasn't even that he was married, or how he looked, but rather it was the words in his profile which sickened me.

I had asked the admin of the site if there was any way I could block him from looking at me, and received no reply. I asked the moderators and was told there was nothing I could do, unless he harassed me. As far as I was concerned, he WAS harassing me. It was immediately noticeable too when someone checked you out, not like this site where you have to look at another screen, it flashed brightly on top and was impossible to ignore.

I removed all my photos, I privatised my scrapbook, I even changed some of the wording in the profile and targeted them at him. It didn't matter, he kept looking. I finally deleted that profile and came back with a new name and yet he still found me, a couple of weeks later. I finally wrote to him (I later learned that a friend of mine did as well) and told him how uncomfortable (understatement of the year. You know the term 'makes your skin crawl'? THAT is how I felt) he was making me and that I would appreciate his not continuing to look at my profile, that I was NOT interested, and that he was blocked from ever writing to me.

I have had a few that would constantly look at my profile, yet never say a word. I asked one why he did that. He said he was shy and I never heard a word from him again. But yes, I would consider those kind of people creepy. It doesn't happen often to me, though. For the most part, I don't realize they're creepy until they start emailing me.

Well. That question answers all questions, really:

Question: "How do you know the wind is cool on an October evening?"
Answer: "You just know."

"How do you know when a raccoon is knocking over a garbage can?"

"You just know. AND the gawd-awful din made by the garbage can hitting the pavement would probably be another indication of such."
