DON'T Pump GAS ON MAY 15th.
In April 1997 there was a "gas out" conducted nationwide in protest of
gas prices. Gasoline dropped 30 cents a gallon overnight.
On May 15th, 2007 all internet users are asked to not go to a gas
station amd pump gas in protest of high gas prices. Gas is now over
$3.00 a gallon in most places
There are 73,000,000+ American members currently on the internet et
network, and the average car takes about 30 to 50 dollars to fill up.
If all users did not go to the pump on May 15th, it would take
$2,292,000,000.00 almost 3 BILLIONS out of the oil companies pockets for
just one day.
So please do not go to the gas pumps on May 15th and let's try to make a
dent in the middle eastern oil industry for at least one day.

It is a great concept...and to go one better...how about make a
concerted effort to car pool that same day..pick up a co-worker, take
another family's kids to school...make it a goal to have all seats in
your car filled ...

Think on how many cars will stay home in the garage that day..

Boycott the fuel ...yes...boycott the burning of the fuel on the same
day..it's a bigger bite to the fuel providers butt..

well its a nice concept but that will only impact the industry if
everyone was actually gonna fill the tank up on that day but not many
ppl fill up on a wednesday and it really dont make much sense money wise
cuz ppl will just fill up the day before or the day after......... the
only way to make an impact would be if everyone wouldnt fill up for a
week or so but thats inconcievable esp those of us who live way out in
the countrygrumble

this wont work.

we all need gas.

Most of the people who are complaining about gas prices are the ones
with big suv's, big trucks, boats and expensive cars. If you can afford
these big toys, i dont get why you complain about gas for them?
