to be real? For me, it means not hiding behind pretenses or saying I am something that I am not.

Being real is being true to myself. Sometimes I hide who I am for fear of getting hurt or act like someone I'm not to keep people from getting to close. Don't consider that not being real, consider it being safe.

Why hide behind anything. You'll be found out sooner or later

Real - authentic.

Not living in projected ego.

Not having any desire to prove oneself.

Being firm in one's principles and personal 'code of ethics'.

Being open to learning more about oneself...at times through what is mirrored back through others.

Accepting oneself.

Living YOUR truth.

Walking the 'talk'.

Owning your own sh*te.

Taking responsibility for your f*ck ups as well as your successes.
